Frequently asked questions
Am I too old/young to take part?
No! This is for EVERYONE. We want as many different people as possible to join in. The project won’t be as good without YOU.
What if I can’t get to Hall Park?
No problem. Find a tree near you and submit your creation by post or email.
Do I need to visit my tree every week?
No. It’s up to you how frequently you visit your tree: weekly, fortnightly monthly….whatever works for you. We suggest visiting at different times through the seasons. Give yourself time to be around your tree to really explore it, or just sit under it for a while, during your visit.
Do I have to submit something for the exhibition?
No, but we’d LOVE it if you would! Even just writing a couple of lines about your thoughts or experience would be a wonderful contribution.
I am not very artistic, can I still be involved?
YES! There are loads of ways to share the wonder of your tree, it doesn’t have to be a picture. You could try photography, writing, composing, or record an audio. You probably have some creative ideas of your own that we haven’t thought of. Each month we will be uploading some inspiration to the website, so keep checking back here for ideas.
